The Magicians Nephew set photos
Two weeks ago, I witnessed magic. I stumbled upon a movie set, and it instantly took me back to that childhood feeling of wonder—when even the most ordinary places on a very ordinary day could turn into something special. The area I’ve walked so many times was alive with cameras and people creating a story together. Zoning out through the viewfinder of my camera, I felt like I’d travelled back in time, with my mind struggling to comprehend the unity of visuals from the time long gone and the reality of events unfolding in front of my eyes.
Being just a bystander, I made sure not to be a nuisance to the crew whilst I followed them around for a bit, often finding myself smiling, remembering what it felt like to believe anything could happen around the next corner. And honestly, it still can.
